On October 25, 2012, the kick-off meeting of the process package of carbon monoxide low water/gas sulfur-resistant conversion unit for the high-sulfur coal clean utilization oil-chemical-electric-heat integration demonstration project of Shanxi Lu'an Group was successfully held at Beijing Zhongke Synthetic Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. Director Jia Kaitian of Shanxi Lu'an Mining (Group) Co., Ltd., Deputy General Manager Zheng Mingfeng of Zhongke Synthetic Oil Engineering Co., Ltd., Chief Engineer Lin Caihong of Shandong Sanwei Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., General Manager Sun Bo of Qingdao Lianxin Catalytic Materials Co., Ltd., Project Manager Professor Zong Qiuyun and other major leaders and research and design personnel attended the meeting. At the kick-off meeting, the three parties jointly connected and determined the project foundation and public engineering design conditions, discussed and optimized the conversion process and equipment selection, and arranged the next work plan.


The Shanxi Lu'an Group's high-sulfur coal clean utilization oil-chemical-electric-heat integrated demonstration project was built in Guozhuang, Wangqiao Town, Xiangyuan County, Shanxi Province, with a designed annual output of 1 million tons of F-T synthetic oil. The project uses coal as raw material and uses Shell pulverized coal gasification to produce raw synthesis gas. The synthesis gas is purified by a series of purification devices such as downstream conversion, low-temperature methanol washing, and fine desulfurization, and finally sent to the oil product synthesis unit to produce finished oil.


The overall design of the project was undertaken by Zhongke Synthetic Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. The conversion process package uses our company's exclusive patented low-water/gas technology. Compared with the currently used high-water-gas process, it is not only stable in operation but also has significant energy-saving effects. Preliminary estimates show that after the implementation of the project, at least 380t/h of steam can be saved, and the economic benefits are extremely considerable.
