In January 2017, our company's first batch of presulfurized sulfur-resistant shift catalysts were successfully used in the shift unit of the 500,000 tons/year methanol unit of Henan Longyu Coal Chemical.
The presulfurized catalyst developed by our company uses the presulfurization technology of simulated industrial units to achieve catalyst presulfurization, and is a fully presulfurized catalyst; as early as January 2015, our company completed the research and development of QDB series carbon monoxide sulfur-resistant shift catalyst presulfurization catalyst. The research and test results show that the use of ex-situ presulfurization technology, the catalyst catalytic CO shift activity and activity stability and other performance have reached the technical level of in-situ presulfurized catalysts, which can meet the requirements of industrial applications. After two years of preparation, it was first applied industrially in Henan Longyu Coal Chemical Industry. The on-site operation situation showed that the use of QDB series pre-sulfurized conversion catalysts no longer required the introduction of raw gas or H2 for secondary sulfidation. Raw gas production could be directly introduced by heating nitrogen, saving at least two days of start-up time. Normal production operation data showed that the low-temperature activity and raw gas processing capabilities of the ex-situ pre-sulfurized catalyst were no different from those of traditional online sulfided catalysts, and even showed better performance, and could withstand higher operating space velocities, which was beneficial to improving the production capacity of the device.
