CNOOC Huizhou Refining and Chemical Unit is the first unit in China to use the new American E-GAS pressurized gasification and the matching low water-gas ratio sulfur-resistant conversion process.
The unit uses the two-stage E-GA coal gasification technology of CB&I of the United States, with an effective synthesis gas of 240,000 standard cubic meters per hour. This is the first application of E-GAS gasification technology in China. It is currently the third and largest E-GAS gasification unit in the world.
The effective gas component in the synthesis gas produced by E-GAS gasification is similar to that of water-coal slurry gasification technology, but the water-gas ratio is relatively low. In order to save energy and reduce consumption, the conversion section uses the low water-gas ratio patented technology of Qingdao Lianxin Catalytic Materials Co., Ltd.
The results of industrial application show that the new E-GAS gasification technology and our company's low water-gas ratio process can make the unit more energy-saving and open up a new energy-saving process for the synthesis gas project using coal as raw material.
