In July 2009, ENN New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ENN New Energy") successfully started up its 600,000-ton annual methanol unit. The unit adopts the "Texaco" water-coal slurry pressurized gasification, one-stage sulfur-resistant shift, and gas-matching process to produce methanol. The crude coal gas pressure produced is as high as 6.2-6.4MPa(G). Since the unit started up in June 2009, it has been running stably, the shift furnace bed resistance is stable, and the QDB-03 catalyst has shown high activity and activity stability under high temperature and low sulfur process conditions.
