Recently, our company successfully started up the temperature-controlled conversion furnace in the first phase of the Anhui Jinmei Zhongneng Chemical Renovation Project. The device uses aerospace pulverized coal gasification and low water-gas ratio isothermal conversion to produce methanol. The first start-up showed high methane content and strong odor on site, which affected the normal operation of the device. After replacing the organic sulfur conversion sulfur-resistant conversion catalyst specially developed by our company in 2020, the technical problems such as high export methane and serious organic sulfur side reactions were solved! At present, the device is running at full load, the temperature-controlled furnace is running well, there is no organic sulfur side reaction, no odor on site, and no obvious methane growth is seen in the import and export of the conversion furnace, and the users are relatively satisfied.
