QDB sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst sets many firsts

The QDB series of new sulfur-tolerant shift catalysts developed by Qingdao Lianxin Chemical Co., Ltd. have excellent catalytic activity, strength and stability and other properties, and have been identified by well-known experts in the industry as having reached the international leading level in comprehensive performance. Up to now, this catalyst has been industrially applied in ammonia production, methanol production and city gas production plants in different domestic processes, and has successively created many national firsts.

 In January 2007, the new catalyst developed by Qingdao Lianxin was successfully used in the world's first pulverized coal gasification low water/gas sulfur-tolerant shift ammonia production unit of Guangxi Liuzhou Chemical Industry Company, filling the role of sulfur-tolerant shift catalysts in "pulverized coal gasification". The international gap of "Application in Low Water/Gas Conversion Process" has opened up a new conversion process path for the production of syngas using pulverized coal gasification with stable production operation, energy saving and significant environmental protection effect.

 In addition, in May 2006, the catalyst was successfully used in the first domestic high-pressure all-low-variation ammonia production unit of Tianji-Gaoping Sinochem Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., filling the gap of "all-low-change" ammonia production under the condition of pressure greater than 3.5MPa. There is a domestic gap in the application of catalysts in "change" process technology. Atmospheric pressure gasification technology is a traditional gas production technology used by small and medium-sized enterprises in my country. The key to supporting high-pressure sulfur-tolerant conversion technology in subsequent sections is the application of catalysts. The successful application of QDB series catalysts has set a model for domestic plants that use coal as raw material and adopt atmospheric pressure gasification to produce gas with high-pressure sulfur-resistant transformation.

 In October 2005, the catalyst was successfully used in the first domestic high-pressure partial depth shift methanol production unit of Yankuang Cathay Chemical Co., Ltd. Yankuang Cathay Chemical Co., Ltd. has a methanol plant with an annual output of 240,000 tons. It is the first methanol plant in China to adopt domestic innovative gasification technology. In the early stage of startup, due to frequent fluctuations in process conditions of the new gasification unit, startup and shutdown were frequent. The QDB series catalysts have experienced good performance despite frequent starts and stops, and can meet the requirements of a 30% increase in load, and have been well received by users.

 By April 2008, QDB catalyst had been used in the full low-variation process of Yankuang Lunan Fertilizer Plant for more than 6 years, setting a national record for the first medium-variation furnace operating time in a full low-variation process for more than 6 years. Over the past 6 years, the number of starts and stops has been reduced by at least 10 times, which not only improved the activity and activity stability of the catalyst under low-sulfur conditions, but also completely solved the problems of poor catalyst strength, stability and pulverization ability, and achieved remarkable results. Economic benefits.

 Recently, they signed the first domestic set of sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst application agreement with Linquan, Anhui Province, for aerospace gasification, which is expected to be put into operation in the second half of this year. This indicates that my country's independently developed gasification technology and sulfur-tolerant shift technology will replace foreign products, breaking the monopoly of foreign companies on gasification and high-concentration sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst technologies.
