On July 23, 2008, QDB-04 catalyst was successfully applied in the 400,000-ton methanol unit of Shaanxi Shenmu Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. This unit is a methanol unit with relatively high pressure in China and adopts partial deep conversion. The unit has an operating pressure of 3.7MPa, a catalyst loading of 54.5m3, and an outlet CO% of less than 10%.
