On July 2, 2008, the Shell pulverized coal gasification low water/gas sulfur-resistant shift methanol production unit of Henan Kaixiang Chemical Co., Ltd. was successfully started up.

In April 2009, the 300,000 t/a synthetic ammonia plant was successfully started up in Linggu, Jiangsu.

In October and December 2008, QDB series catalysts were successfully applied in Anhui Linquan Chemical Co., Ltd. and Puyang Longyu Aerospace Gasification's 150,000 tons per year methanol conversion unit.

On July 23, 2008, QDB-04 catalyst was successfully applied in the 400,000-ton methanol unit of Shaanxi Shenmu Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.

On June 3, 2008, QDB-04 catalyst was successfully used in the second phase of 100,000 tons of methanol in Shanxi Fengxi Linyi Branch.

On February 26, 2008, QDB-03/QDB-04 catalyst was successfully applied in the dual-structure 180,000-ton synthetic ammonia and 300,000-ton urea unit of Yankuang Lunan Fertilizer Plant.
